Inspiration for form and design can be found in a multitude of elements. This exercise focused on composition, translation, and hierarchy. One fragment from a song was selected to be studied, then the qualities, emotions, and energy of the piece were transcribed into visual physical representations using architectural tools. The resulting linework, done both digitally and by hand should express the atmosphere of the piece.
